Katharine Hamnett

"Nobody's going to buy clothes out of pity, you're going to buy clothes because you want them, it's something that makes you feel great, it's not anything that's kinda brown and lumpy." Katharine Hamnett

Sometimes, it takes more than a creative idea or meaningful messages to make an item popular, that is sale. After all, fashion is about the look. Usually consumer would consider picking up a nice piece of clothing, before thinking about the possibility of carrying a big slogan to make a statement.

But then, different people have different reasons behind whatever they do, right? Like, people may choose to be a vegetarian because of their religion, health issue or they simply just dislike the taste of meat. The thing is, even if you are wearing a slogan tee doesn't necessarily mean that you have strong faith in what it's saying. Um... say like the "i'm not a plastic bag".

All in all, everyone is trying to make the world a better place. It's just a matter of for who: only themselves or all.
